At 2 years old, and still small enough to fit in your lap, Red is like a permanent puppy.

While this little guy loves to race around the Big Yard, chasing after toy ropes and playing with the other dogs, he settles down very quickly.

Red’s breed is a total mystery to us. He reminds us of a whippet or of a greyhound, though his features aren’t quite so petite. Plus, he has vibrant, orange fur that really makes him stand out.

While sudden movements and loud noises are startling to him, Red is overall a very happy-go-lucky guy who warms up to new people quickly.

Red would do great in a home with other dogs, and likely cats too with slow introductions.

We recommend kids over 12 and/or children who will be respectful of him and his boundaries, as Red is inherently wary.

To bring home this little lad, please fill out our application on kenthumane.org. Once approved, we’ll schedule an appointment with you to meet Red.
