CHESTERTOWN — Government bodies are holding their meetings over a variety of platforms. Below is a list of virtual meetings scheduled for the coming week.
The Kent County Board of Education will hold its monthly meeting Monday, June 8. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m., but board members will immediately move into a closed session. The open session will resume at 6:30 p.m.
The Kent County Commissioners will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 9. The meeting will be livestreamed at www.kentcounty.com/commis sioners/meeting-live-video. To offer public comment, call 410-810-2213 and enter PIN 55266 when prompted. The Millington Mayor and Council will hold a conference call public hearing at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 9 to adopt the fiscal year budget that will take effect July 1. To access the meeting dial 701-802-5458, enter access code 415929 and follow the prompts.
The Betterton Mayor and Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 9. It will be held via the Go To Meeting app. According to the town website, log-in information is available outside town hall and is emailed to residents.
