DENTON — Families in Caroline County were asked to complete an online survey to help Caroline County Public Schools understand the technology needs of students in their homes.

An email was sent to parents and guardians on March 19 with a link to the survey which can also be found on the school district's website.

Caroline County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Patricia Saelens encouraged parents to share this information with CCPS families that may not receive email. Those without access to internet may call 410-479-1460 on Friday, March 20 or Monday, March 23 from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m., to provide their information directly to CCPS or email pio@ccpsstaff.org.

Although not specified by the school, who said any direction for extending the return to school would come from the state, it is expected this data collection is being used to determine how many students would be capable of home study. Other schools across the region have requested similar information from their students.
