CAMBRIDGE — A Washington D.C .woman faces drug charges in Dorchester County after a traffic stop Saturday on U.S. Route 50 lead to a vehicle search.
A deputy working traffic patrol on Aug. 28 stopped a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Danielle Frechette Hawkes on Route 50 near Chateau Drive, according to Dorchester County Sheriff Jimmy Phillips.
Phillips said the traffic stop resulted in a search of the vehicle and revealed quantities of alleged marijuana, cocaine and heroin, all packaged for sale.
The deputy also discovered paraphernalia used in the sale of the illegal substances. Hawkes was arrested and charged with seven drug related charges and was ordered held without bond, according to police.
