CAMBRIDGE — March is National Nutrition Month, and to celebrate University of Maryland Shore Regional Health dietitians and diabetes educators are offering events to help individuals and families follow the theme, “Eat Right, Live Right, Feel Right.” Learn about diet, nutrition, weight loss and maintaining your overall health by attending a free program in Cambridge.

Food Shopping for Health — fun, free grocery store tours guided by registered dietitians and focused on how to shop and plan meals for optimal health — are offered as follows:

DonJurea Daniels, a registered dietitian with UM Shore Medical Center at Dorchester, will lead the Cambridge tour at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Walmart, 2775 Dorchester Square. RSVP by calling 410-822-1000, ext. 5351.

Karen Hollis, a registered dietitian with UM Center for Diabetes & Endocrinology, will lead the Easton tour at 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 25, at Giant Foods, 8223 Elliott Road. RSVP by calling 410-822-1000, ext. 5188.
