DENTON — Delmarva Power is canvassing homes in Cambridge throughout March in an initiative to drive awareness of a program that can help customers save energy and money.

Canvassers are looking to generate customer interest in setting up an appointment to have a Quick Home Energy Checkup, where a certified energy analyst would return to the customer’s home and educate them on changes they can make to save energy and money. The certified energy analyst will also visually inspect items such as, HVAC systems, windows and doors, lighting and appliances, and may install energy-saving products that use less energy, such as lightbulbs, smart power strips, low-flow short heads or smart thermostats, at no cost to the customer.
