The Eastern Shore Dance Academy’s advanced ballet class is pictured at its most recent recital. The academy is accepting new students for its 16th season, which runs through May 2020.

CAMBRIDGE — The Eastern Shore Dance Academy, under the artistic direction of Jessica Hindman, is beginning of its 16th dance season.

The academy is accepting new students for the season, which runs through May 2020.

The class schedule is filled with many styles of dance, such as ballet, tap, hip-hop, modern/contemporary, jazz, musical theater, acrobatics and adult classes.

Hindman and her staff of five other instructors offer many opportunities within the studio for dance instruction and expose students to many opportunities outside the studio, including students traveling to perform at Universal Studios and Disney World, the Maryland Council for Dance and the Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington, D.C.

They also have a competition team, with students receiving scholarships to continue training all over the world. All of the ballet students can to participate in “The Nutcracker” at no additional cost. Students also will get to perform in an end-of-the-year recital.
