CAMBRIDGE — DS Smith Packaging Cambridge has donated safety glasses and gift cards to the hard-working individuals with Dorchester County Fire and EMS, and police in appreciation for their efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Said Mark Ushpol, Managing Director of Packaging for North America at DS Smith: “As a caring and responsible corporate neighbor in Cambridge, we are committed to doing what we can in the community to support our families, friends and neighbors with assistance in ways that make an immediate impact. By helping each other in these difficult times, we will emerge from this crisis stronger than ever.”

“Amid this crisis in the U.S., DS Smith’s Packaging, Paper and Recycling operations have been deemed essential”, said Ushpol, “and we are privileged to employ incredibly dedicated teams who continue to come to work every day, ensuring we maintain production of much-needed packaging solutions that deliver essential food, medical, pharmaceutical and other products that support the supply chain and keep the country functioning.”
