DCHD Vaccine Staff

Dorchester County Health Department staff members prepare to work at the vaccination clinic.

CAMBRIDGE — The Dorchester County Health Department is still vaccinating county residents in the 1B priority group.

According to DCHD Public Information Officer Angela Grove, the department is still receiving a limited vaccine supply. The DCHD is currently allocated only 300 doses per week and has over 2,500 individuals in 1A and 1B priority groups yet to be registered for vaccination, Grove said.

“We kindly ask for patience as it may be several weeks before completing this phase,” she said.

County residents are encouraged to complete the online interest form. The department is working on a notification system for everyone who has completed the form, even though there will be a delay in the scheduling of appointments at the current rate of vaccine distribution.

To fill out the online interest form, visit www.dorchesterhealth.org; in the blue alert box, click on “COVID-19 Vaccine Interest Form” and enter the required information before submitting the form. Assistance in completing the online interest form is available by calling 410-228-3223.
