Dorchester Rec and Parks will open pool, begin soccer registration

CAMBRIDGE — Dorchester County Department of Recreation and Parks will be resuming some activity with opening of the county pool and begining registration of the fall youth soccer league.

The Dorchester County Pool will open on July 1 with precautionary regulations in place, according to Department of Recreation and Parks Director Frank Stout. 

The pool will have a capacity of 200 total guest, and facial coverings will be required at admission, in restrooms and changing facilities, and when ordering at the snack bar.

Stout said it is recommended to call the pool at 410-221-8535 to find out if pool facility is at attendance capacity.

Group admission will be taken by reservation only for Tuesdays and Thursday, and must be arranged 24 hours in advance by contacting Recreation and Parks at 410-228-5578.

Stout also said the Dorchester County Youth Soccer League Season will resume in Fall of 2020. Registration can be completed on-line at, and anyone with further questions can call 410-228-5578.
