CAMBRIDGE — A Cambridge man faces drug charges when law enforcement executed a search warrant on Monday, March 1 at his residence.
Deputies from the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office, the Dorchester County Narcotics Task Force and the Dorchester County State’s Attorney’s Office executed a search and seizure warrant on the residence of 32-year-old Ernest Darnell Ennals Jr. on the 500 block of Academy Street.
The Dorchester Sheriff's Tactical Assault and Raid (STAR) team made entry to the location, and a search of the residence allegedly revealed a quantity of crack cocaine, paraphernalia used in regards to the crack cocaine and oxycodone pills.
Dorchester County Sheriff Jimmy Phillips said that Ennals was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of cocaine, two counts of possession of paraphernalia and possession of oxycodone. He was ordered Held without bond.
This investigation was a coordinated effort between the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office, Dorchester County Narcotics Task Force and the Dorchester County State’s Attorney’s Office through the Maryland Criminal Intelligence Network (MCIN).
The Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention, Youth and Victims Services provides grant funding and strategic support to MCIN member sites to identify, disrupt and dismantle criminal organizations through inter-agency collaboration and data sharing to make Maryland safer.
