CENTREVILLE — The annual Operation Christmas Child Box was a resounding success at the Centreville United Methodist Church on Sunday, Nov. 17.

Almost 140 brightly colored boxes were lined up in front of the church altar as Pastor Mark Farnell blessed them and thanked all who had filled a box for a needy child.

Also thanking everyone for helping out was project chairwoman Lori Becraft, who noted that the co-chairwoman was Allison Wood.

Several other local churches are involved in the children’s boxes project this holiday season.
