TROY, NY — Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute student-athlete Megan Jones of Stevensville has been chosen to an All-Liberty League Team in field hockey.

Jones, an attack chosen as an Honorable Mention, is making her first appearance on an All-League team after pacing the team in goals with eight and points with 19 in 17 games, all starts. She added 41 shots with 25 on the cage.

The mathematics major had single goals in six games and a pair of markers at Castleton University on Sept. 20. Her three assists came in three separate contests.

Jones was recently named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team.

Rensselaer finished 5-12 overall and a 3-4 in the conference.
